Katja Taxis, MD, PhD, FISPE

Katja Taxis, MPharm, MSc, PhD, FISPE is professor of pharmacotherapy and clinical pharmacy at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands and programme director of the master of pharmacy. Her research focuses on the development and evaluation of interventions to improve medication use in practice, especially for older people on polypharmacy. She is past chair of ISPE’s SIG on Drug Utilization Research and current chair of its European branch (EuroDURG).
