I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health's epidemiology department, and conduct research that aims to promote safe and effective medication use among older adults. For my dissertation, I quantified use of medications with anticholinergic and sedating properties by operationalizing and studying a pharmacological screening tool, the Drug Burden Index (DBI), among US-based older adults.
